Kids Ministry
Help create a safe, joyful space for kids to learn about Jesus through teaching, games, crafts, or simply being an extra set of hands. Roles range from leading to assisting—great for all personality types. Email jessica@newcitychurch.org for more info.
VBS
Help create a week where kids can explore who God is and how His character shapes their lives. VBS is full of fun—games, crafts, STEAM projects, music, and Bible teaching—and we need a strong team to make it happen.
We’re looking for volunteers to serve before, during, and after VBS, with opportunities for middle school through adults of all ages. Whether you love working directly with kids or helping behind the scenes, there’s a place for you! We could use help with set up (June 20 & 21) and clean up (June 26), as well as with daily craft prep, and many hands on leaders to help with our kids (this will be our biggest year of VBS yet)!
Dates: June 22–26
Volunteer Time: 8:30 am – 12:15 pm*
*even if you are not available every day, we can still use your help!
Student Ministry (Middle School & High School)
Build relationships with students, show up consistently, and help lead discussions or activities. A meaningful way to invest in the next generation. Email jessica@newcitychurch.org for more info.
Meals for Students
Provide dinner or snacks for our middle school and high school gatherings. This is a simple, tangible way to care for students and create a welcoming environment. Sparkling flavored water donations can be brought any Sunday to church.
Sunday Morning Hospitality Team
Welcome people on Sundays, help with setup/teardown, coffee, and creating a space where people feel seen and comfortable the moment they arrive. Email decordovacarol@gmail.com for more info.
Worship & Production

Prayer Team

Local Missions & Service Projects

Office Support

Facilities & Maintenance
Assist with caring for our church space—light repairs, painting, organizing, landscaping, and ongoing upkeep to keep our campus welcoming and functional. Email jessica@newcitychurchsb.org for more info.
Event & Hospitality Support
Help plan and execute church events—setting up spaces, decorating, coordinating details, and creating meaningful experiences for our community. Email kimabeck54@gmail.com for more info.
Meals & Care Ministry
Provide meals for families going through major life moments (new babies, illness, transitions) as a practical way to care for people. Links to active meal trains will be posted below. If there are none listed, we do not have any at this time.
