While New City Church believes that the "body of Christ" includes all believers, whether affiliated with a church or not, we strongly believe that regular engagement with fellow believers in a community that loves and cares for each other is vital and a source of tremendous spiritual growth and encouragement. As the Bible says, "For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them." Matthew 18:20
